Exchanges on Defective Items Due to State Regulations, we are limited in what we can do when a product is damaged or defective. The new law requires that the Cannabis Products be properly destroyed, and some distributors we purchase products from will not take responsibility for defective items. In our efforts to follow the law AND provide the best customer service possible we will always do our best to resolve any defective item issue, whether it be an exchange or credit to your account with NorCal. ***We now have a 24-hour exchange policy on all cannabis products including: vape cartridges, disposable vapes, tinctures, oils, edibles. The packaging MUST NOT be opened or damaged in any way if you wish to exchange the item NOTE: This list does not contain flower, because we DO NOT exchange flower. We encourage you to test out these items when you receive them so that we can correct the situation immediately. After 24 hours we cannot exchange any items.

Happy New Year!
Thank You for being part of NorCal Holistics in 2018, we look forward to another great year in 2019. January 1st marked the one year anniversary of legal Recreational Cannabis sales in California; 2019 will be the second year of California’s ever expanding and changing marketplace. Some of these changes are taxes, some are new testing regulations, and some are to the structure of the industry as a whole. Proposition 64, the Adult Use of Marijuana Act, initiated the change when it was voted into effect to replace the medical marijuana program. Furthermore, CA Proposition 215 and the cooperative medical marijuana program is shutting down effective yesterday, January 9th, 2019. This means any unlicensed cannabis retailers are no longer allowed to sell cannabis. Dozens of delivery companies in the local area have been operating under this model, and will now have to stop or risk being shut down by the State. Thankfully, we are one of the few fully state licensed delivery companies in the Sacramento area, so we will continue to serve all of our patients safely and legally.
There are 3 main Taxes we must collect in order to do business in Sacramento as a Cannabis Company: •CA Excise Tax - 15% (we include this in our menu price already) •CA Sales Tax - 8.5% (State Sales Tax, plus local Sales Tax combined) •City of Sacramento Cannabis Tax - 4% (This is a new tax we are collecting effective Jan 10th)
We include the 15% excise tax in our menu prices on all cannabis products, some companies may not do this. The 8.5% Sales tax is added to your purchase at checkout, along with the 4% City Tax on top of that. To be clear, this means there will be an additional 12.5% total tax added to your purchase, plus a delivery fee if you do not reach the minimum for your city. Patients with a valid MMIC card issued through the department of health are exempt from this tax. Click on one of the links below to get a MMIC card, you must get it through the county you reside in.
The last big change that 2019 brings to the Cannabis Industry is now all products produced in the State cannabis market are now subject to even more rigorous lab testing to ensure safety and potency etc.. As a licensed delivery service we are only allowed to purchase cannabis from licensed vendors who are required to complete these testing requirements before we put the product on our shelves. As a customer of NorCal, you can rest assured you are getting the safest, highest quality products available.
List of TestingCategories Effective 2019: • Cannabinoids • Microbial • Percent Moisture • CAT I, II Solvents • CAT I, II Pesticides • Foreign Materials • Terpenoids • Mycotoxins •Heavy Metals •Water Activity
